No personal information about anyone accessing this site will ever be shared with any other party. Your identity or any personal information you share on the forums or in chat will never be revealed to any outside sources for any reason. We do not sell or share email addresses of people accessing this site.

We have very few rules here at our community of support forums. That said, you are expected to act like human beings. All members and moderators must behave at all times with respect and honesty. Rule of thumb...treat others the way YOU expect to be treated. In the five years or so that our forums have been in existence we've only had to "ban" maybe 2 or 3 members. "Banning" will work like this..... A moderator or myself will give the member a warning...usually for personally attacking another member. AFTER the warning, if the behavior continues the member will be asked to leave. After that point, if the problem continues the member will be banned from the support forums.

I'd like to remind you that these support forums are PUBLIC and therefore can be seen by anyone on the internet. Please use common sense and do not post anything personal about yourself or family (phone, address, etc.) Members may "edit" their posts, but only moderators or myself can "delete" a post. We can always be contacted if there is a problem with this...our email addresses are posted. If a member is posting health/medical information...unless it is "personal information" (something having to do with YOU, personally)... a link and/or reference must be included. Users must post information which are true and correct to their best knowledge.

The main website (www.MethadoneSupport.org) site is wholly owned and operated by Carol Sholiton, in partnership as Methadone Support Org. (MSO), Inc. All site related expenses are paid by the owner. Because of this, Support Forums, guestbooks etc. that are on site are free and will therefore have the occasional Google advertisement or the like. Those ads are distinguished by the word "Ads by Google" and we do not control Google ads content as our editorial content is free of any commercial influence.

Occasional donations from members to assist in these expenses are gladly accepted. This site is not sponsored by or funded by any commercial or non-commercial organizations. Methadone Support Org. (MSO) IS NOT FUNDED BY PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES.
